Our history

The 1990s

Taking collective responsibility

Liberalisation and the withdrawal of some public agricultural services encouraged organisations to strengthen their own services.

1998

The Ebolowa Appeal

A meeting of farmers' leaders gave renewed impetus to national consultation.

December 2000

The establishment of CNOP-CAM

The movement established a national framework. Historical accounts date its establishment to 20 December 2000.

2021

A network connected to the world

Membership of the International Land Coalition and the start of the documented partnership with Agroecology Fund.

2025–2027

Women and youth in agroecology

A new PROFEJA phase supports the consolidation of rural enterprises.
